The Jumpmaster
hello
Please allow me to share the back story of this knife, I was in the army for 6 years, and will always have a special place in my heart for the men and women who serve to defend our country. I have a customer who honored me in asking me to design and build a knife for their son who was going to US Army Airborne Jumpmaster School.
The parameters I had to work with were it has to have a serrated blade and the handle has to be grippy, bare handed someone's life is at stake grippy, it has to be sharp and it has to be tough.
Here is that knife that I came up with and to the best of my knowledge is on active duty today. I would be honored to build one of these for you.
here's the knife specs for the Jumpmaster
O1 tool steel
forced patina finish
g10 gator skin textured grip
nickel silver pins
serrated edge
8 1/2 inches overall length
3 7/8 inches cutting edge
1/8 inches thick at the spine
comes with a sheath similar to the one pictured. A kydex core Chicago screwed to a leather backer
I do not have access to mil spec straps for the leg straps, but if I need to find those for you let me know
and I will be happy to find the best I can to add to the build ( unfortunately it will add to the pricing )
pricing starts at 300 dollars plus shipping ( unless you'd like to add some wild stuff to it the 300 is as pictured in the first set of pictures, thank you )
